Born and raised at Changanassery in Kottayam District. Schooling at Sacred Heart School, St. Joseph's School and St Ann's School at Changanassery she earned Pre Degree in Science and Bachelor's degree in Physics from Assumption College, Changanassery of Mahatma Gandhi University. Obtained Bachelor Degree for Education in Physical Science from Mahatma Gandhi University, she has Law Degree from Law Academy Law College of Kerala University. Holds MBA (HR) Degree from Sikkim Manipal University

Upon completion of Law degree enrolled as an Advocate on 19-11-1995 and practiced at Changanassery and Vaikom for 13 years. Appointed as Member of Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum (CDRF), Kottayam in February 2008 and served as the same until February 2013. After that practiced as advocate at Kanjirappally. Currently lives in Kanjirappally.

Assumed the Charge of Member of Kerala State Commission for Minorities on 5th October 2016.

Married to Jose Cyriac, Advocate and Notary, Kanjirappally and has three children Maria Jose, Therese Jose and Rose Jose.
